A biomass crop which competes well with all others the Jerusalem Artichoke has now being planted on a field scale. Like other crops it can also be used as food and please contact me if you wish to purchase roots from October to April. They store well when kept refrigerated and provide an exotic addition to roast vegetables or other recipes. There was a soup recipe fron Darina Allen on the Examiner.
